I LOVE BRIAN JONES!!!!

He was creative, intellectual, witty, and downright GORGEOUS!!
He had the ability to teach himself how to play any instrument, from the recorder to the accordion to the sitar, and many many more!
He was also the one with the idea of having no lead guitarist, but instead 2 guitars weaving off each other. Everyone thought it was a crazy idea, but he and keith pulled it off, and that’s what gave the stones their own unique sound.
Not to mention he could play a damn good slide guitar (he’s my fav. Slide guitarist…..”no expectations” so beautiful thanks to him), and made that sound popular in england during the 60s.

Yes, he was a heavy drug user, but who wasn’t during the 60s……besides he had a good reason for it. He took them to escape the reality of the fact that he was being isolated from the band that he put his heart and soul into forming.

Did I also mention he was a fashion icon? From his colourful hats, blazers, and scarves, he was a true inspiration for fashion…..my wardrobe today is quite inspired by his groovy taste!

Also, he had such a wide vocabulary and was sounded sooo intelligent during interviews …..not like many arrogant “musicians” today.

I mean reall, what’s not to love about Brian, he definitely changed the world for the better in his short life, and if I could travel back in time the first thing I would do is prevent him from dying!
